Trisha Nagla, founder and owner of Kidz-Activitez L.L.C., came up with the idea for this website when she became frustrated with the lack of information on local children’s classes/activities for her own children.

Kidz-Activitiez.com provides busy families with:
  * Information on the different instructors or organizations offering activities for children in the Des Moines metro area.
  * Are you looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend? Check out our Fun Stuff calendar.

So many classes/activities are discovered by word of mouth. If you hear of some fun class/activity or event, let us know!

Spotlight Image Registration Opens August 11 for Music Together & Infant Sign Language!

Music Together is Music and Movements for families! Parent-child classes with parent education; babies, toddlers, and preschoolers learn music through playful activities in mixed-age classes. Music Together is developmentally appropriate and research-based.

Infant Sign Language Class was developed for parent to learn ASL signs in a baby friendly atmosphere. Signing with infants & toddlers can: promote early communication, speed spoken language development, reduce frustration and tantrums, and enhance parent/child bond.
